In November, Facebook announced that breakdowns of conversion reports would become available again after the post-iOS 14 break. After a while, I began to see it in my custom ad reports, but it wasn’t available in my Ads Manager. Today, however, it finally arrived.

To recap, when Facebook made changes in response to iOS 14 opt-outs, one of the features that was taken away was the option to view breakdowns of conversions. This was evident when you went to the Breakdown drop-down menu and chose to analyze by placement.

Previously (and post iOS 14 changes), you would get a total for conversions but you wouldn’t see how that metric broke down by placement.

When Facebook adjusted for iOS 14 opt-outs, breakdowns for conversions (standard events, custom events, or custom conversions) were no longer available. Fortunately, that has now been restored.

Until now, we were in the dark about how different segments like age, gender, country, and placement were performing in terms of conversions. We could only get breakdowns of surface-level metrics, not conversions. Thankfully, this feature is now available and appears to be rolling out. This is incredibly helpful!
